Biography : For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by our ability to be creative. And so, over a span of 25 years, I have had many diverse roles, from computer translation researcher, to creativity workshop facilitator, free-style jazz dance teacher, artist, novelist and (probably most challenging of all) full-time mother. Exercise and sport have accompanied me throughout life, starting with ballet & gymnastics, and on to Jazz dance, Pilates, and Yoga. As teacher of Transformational Yoga, I offer students a practice that will deepen their relationship to themselves as whole, creative beings. Through this method, which combines asana with breath work and mantra, we not only address our physical bodies, but also our emotions, minds and the energy networks connecting them, bringing us closer to our true, unique nature and One-ness.

Biography : Hanna grew up in Germany, India, and the UK before making Florence, Italy, her home. She first got introduced to yoga in India 20 years back. Since then, it’s been a journey through which she sees the world and experiences the life in it. Hanna completed her first Ashtanga teachers training course in Italy. She than decided to deepen her yogic studies directly under the guidance of Swami Vidyanand, the founder of Yoga Alliance International, in India and received the master level certificate in Transformational Hatha Yoga, Pranayama, and Meditation. She is also a certified teacher for kids & teen yoga. Giumayoga.it offers lessons for adults, teens, kids and 50+ in Florence, and Teacher Trainings in Transformational Hatha Yoga as well as Kids & Teen Yoga. A passionate traveler Hanna currently leads yoga retreats in Italy, India & Greece.
